Question leaking clear oil like substance

I have noticed the past couple of weeks that my car is leaking a clear oil like liquid. I have checked every fluid that i can think of and nothing is low. I checked the PS fluid, Brake, Tranny, Oil, Coolant, etc. etc.... I cant find where this leak is coming from. It almost seems as if its coming from aournd the glove box area. My guess is its some kind of oil for the A/C. Any help on this matter would be great. Thanks,

Tim

It's not oil. It's A/C condensate. I bet that if you don't run the A/C (or defroster, since the A/C is on even when you have it set to the warm side) you don't see it.

Its not condensation either, that was my first thought, but it is actually an oily substance, much thicker than condensation.

No, he means the refridegerant. It's leaking somewhere inside from one of the lines. You may wanna take the dash off or something and find where it's leaking from.

Compressor oil is clear and slightly thicker than water. is it leaking inside your car or outside? If it is outside you need to determine if it is coming from the condenstae drain (leaking in the dash), or from a source in the engine bay. if it is coming from the condensate drain then the only real part in the dash is your evaporator core, ad if it is outside the bay then you could have a leaky accumulator or simply a bad o-ring. either way you would lose all yrou refrigerant.... does your a/c still work?
