Looks like Im spoiling myself this summer.

Gonna pick up some good tires, but for really good price. Im gonna try the Cooper Zeon tires, anyone have experience with those tires?

i dunno, but for cheap tires id go with federals or falken or something.

we get free used tires so we kinda use whatever we get.

Federals and Sumitomo's are the cheapest. Followed by General, and all are pretty decent for the price.

I'd rather buy used brand name wheels then new knockoffs. Wheel companies that dont have enough imagination to make their own origional designs get no respect from me.

That is entirely your decision to make. Some of the guys here dont have the money to spend on brand name wheels. Even the used ones go for almost the same price as new. Others like me are saving up for better wheels in the future, in the mean time, whatever is good for the price will get my business. Not all knock off wheels are bad, for the longest time, a lot of people kept saying that 5zigen wheels were crap, now look at how big the company is and how many people take back their words about the company and buy those same rims they were trash talking not long ago.

Its all in how its made. We are not about having a "status" on what we have on the car. "Function Before Fashion" is the motto most of our club members aim for. As stated, some good, some bad. Its threads like these that help others who want to find a bargain price at the moment that gives them a decent quality for the price they pay. As long as we get our moenies worth out of the wheel, all good. Eventually, if I keep my S14, I'll move up in the wheel world. But something with lighter and stronger alloy. TE37's may be "played out" but they have a function, light weight, strong alloy. For the moment, those MB Comps look like a good bargain. 17x9 +12 for 130 per rim? Why not? Its good enough to have and help me increase my mileage for the time being vs keeping my heavy as hell 350Z 8 spokes (or are they 7?) and losing a minimum 50 miles per tank of gas.

Oh and my opinions on knock off wheels...

I don't think I have to state it.
(This is why I still don't have rims on the F50..c'mon, it's TOO expensive.)

My next ride is either an 03 G35 or a 05.5 Audi S4 Avant. Nothing for that car says cheap... just the front Oettinger bumper kit is over 2K.

Chinese food... I can say its a bit played out, I eat it every night...

Japanese on the other hand... Cant be played out. Like this one Roll at Taro's by Mikuni's here, its called the Godzilla roll. Best way to describe it... it can cast a shadow on a Chipotle burrito. I have still yet to try this, but Ive seen pics... f*king HUGE!
