kill switches??
Not really sure where this should be posted, thought this seemed like as good a place as any. I was watching the option dvd that came with the new Super Street, and they were showing these girls how to start the car. The drift car had like 4 switches to hit, which I don't remember any exept the fuel pump, before you turn the key. I was just curious how they do this (I don't think it is to difficult but who knows), and why they do this, whats the point other than getting to feel cool flipping your switches to start your car. anyway just wondering about that.

most of it is for saftey reasons. I'd expect with the kind of serious driving that those guys are doing the cars have to be equipped with a certain type(s) of kill switch(es) in case something goes wrong. As far as person use cars.... depends on if you want to make your own alarm system. Basically you could hide all sorts of switches to make it at least very difficult for somebody to steal your car.

I'm working on my own little ignition safety setup. (MAYBE)
relays, resistors, IC's, 4 switches, ignition key (not stock), and push button.
the switches will have to be flipped in a certain order before the car will start!
I'm retarded I know!!! lol
