Keyless entry remote...

I used the search function, but only found the instructions on how to program the remote. What I am wondering, is how do I know if my car can utilize the keyless entry system. If so, which remote do I need to buy?

I put keyless entry in the search and came up with this. I don't know what you put in the search but here ya go.http://www.club240.com/forums/showth...=Keyless+entry

BTW do you have pics of your saleen mustang? A friend o'mine has a 900hp 89' saleen and I wanna know what it looks likes. He lives too far from me.

Those are the same results I came up with the search. Not what I was looking for. Granted, I'll use some of that information when it comes time to program the FOB, but I need to know WHICH fob to purchase that is compatable with my 240sx.

I've got some pics of the Saleen, just over 500rwhp over 530rwtq. But, if you are just wanting to see what they look like, check out http://www.performanceautosport.com He specializes in Mustangs. Cobra, Saleen, Roush, Steeda, R, Lightning and SSP Mustangs.

It might be better to just go aftermarket. More features.

Yes, I have power locks. So will any Nissan Keyless FOB work? Is there a specific one I need?

I'm not gonna go to the dealership and pay over $100 for a keyless pad. Can get the off of eBay for under $20 all day long.

yeah, but if you bought them all day long, it would be more than $100. It's true.

Quit posting usless **** in this thread. This is a serious thread. Honestly, if there is nothing of value to contribute to a thread, why the hell do people post to it.

Wait, wait...so how do you know your car even has keyless entry equipped in the first place? And what does having power locks have to do with anything? I'd be curious to know as well. And lrb...that comment was not even funny...maybe that's why it came across as "useless ****"

From what I have been reading it was standard equipment on S14's. But, still not sure on that one.

Yeah probably ... I'm not a funny person I guess. I suck.. anyways... I don't know about this keyless entry stuff.. I thought you had to have it installed on your car, because they'd have to be sensors and crap.. never heard anything about it being equiped stock.

Uhm... it's in the ECU...

Honestly, if you don't know anything about he subject, stay out of the thread. Not trying to be rude.
