Yeah, but you also gotta realize that it costs money to install the SR and tune it up for more power. The SR will prob be running more boost than the KA for 500+ RWHP. That means you gotta work with the engine to allow it to sustain that high a boost level.

that's kind of a redundant point since practically any 4 cylinder engine needs internals to handle 500+... another thing to support my view is that many 500+ SR's have been done more often than KA's in the land which built them in the first place

how much fortifying of the engine's internals is needed to hit the 300/350 whp mark?

True, both internals need to be done, but don't SRs need to be reinforced mroe than the KA because of the higher boost?
