Damn... a whole month and it finally came in! It was on back order from Japan. There is bad news that pisses me off. I guess UPS tossed around my exhaust in shipment from the store I bought it from and when I opened the box the tip was all bent and then I further dug and noticed there was no hardware. I called the store and asked them what kind of box did they ship it in, they said a blue and white Buddy Club box. When it arrived at my door it was in a repacked brown box and then I noticed the shipping label was cut off and retaped to the brown box.
So I was pissed and the store was pissed off as well and they even calmed me down and talked about some options. I told them that if they just send out some hardware everything will be fine and I will bang out the dent myself, but instead they are going to send out a UPS man on Monday and pick up the damaged exhaust and resend me a new one priority. Also instead of me filing a claim against UPS they are going to do it for me because if I did it I would have to wait for the claim to clear before I got another exhaust.

 

Dude they should atleast give you 10% off for hard times, seems Fu#Ked, but it has happened to me before. I ordered my sport MAX962's over 3 weeks ago and they still haven't arrived.

 

Just hope it doesn't come in damaged and missing the valves stems and center caps! Then you will be in my shoes

Yep, that be a UPS repackage... meaning their delivery guy damaged the box and to prevent them from either returning the product all the way back to the sender, they just do what they did to you. Sorry to hear that it happened to you.

They did that to me too, I had a bent tip and had to bang that one back out, hardware was still there by pure luck. They (UPS) told me to contact the sender (which I did) and he (the seller) sent me a shipping refund back to my pay-pal. Im happy with my out come, noting the exhaust cost me 200 shipped. Got enough cash back for a tank of gas (at that time...)

I hope they will get yours out in one piece this time around.

 

Always a plus if insurance is offered to just pay for it. Sellers usually expedite your order and everyone gets their money back for a damaged item. Sellers that get returned shipping item with RMA get their money back and then some depending on the value they listed for the item lol. That's prolly why they wanted the item back so they could file claim, instead of opening another package and getting hardware from it. Most companies don't have extra hardware laying around less it was from another damaged package.

 

That sucks man! Sounds like the shop is doing a good thing though and just sending another one out. Curious as to how it sounds as well! I had N1 duals when my car was NA and then switched out to RS*R when i got my SR and it was damn loud. My buddy got the RS*R on his NA Kouki and it drove his GF nuts!! I loved watching him drive up and her fingers in her ears!

 

Got my exhaust and it sounds DOPE!!! I will post pics and video tomorrow. I want to give big ups to FRsport.com. They have outstanding customer service.
