Injectors needed...maybe?

My current setup is as follows:

-Blacktop S13 SR20DET
-T28 Turbo
-Blitz ECU -Not sure which yet-
-ARC Intake and Intercooler
-Stock Injectors
-Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
-Full exhaust

From what I hear the T28's are usually good for about 300WHP max. I'd like to hit that number.

Are 550cc injectors in store? I've heard mixed things from the stock injectors ...some say they're fine, some say they're weak.

Depending on the T28 turbo that you are using, a lot can reach more than 300hp.

I would say if you're using the T28 off of an S14 or an S15, than I would assume that the stock 370cc injectors are fine.
If you're using a T28 such as the Garrett GT2871R, then I would say you can easily get over 300hp, and would need to upgrade your MAF, and injectors.

The T28 is an S14 T28. Nothing fancy.

...so the stock SR injectors should be alright for maxing this turbo out around 300WHP?

MAF might be needed as well? I'd really like to look further into this Blitz ECU it has...I'm not sure what it's good for.

yes OP..... those numbers are at 100% duty cycle, you never ever want to run at 100% duty cycle.

Ok, that's what I was thinking...because...ya I'm sure the stockers are fine when running low boost...but if I plan to hit 300WHP on this T28 I'm going to need to be up near 18-20PSI.

The stock S15's are more than enough? otherwise I'm thinking a set of 550cc will do the trick as well...

...anybody recommend any brand preference? Good cost to value ratio....?

Also, you're saying you want to run 18+lbs of boost. NOT GOOD

The factory S14 turbo max's out at 14/15psi.

Really? I thought it was the T25 that maxed out at 14PSI...

...maybe I'm wrong but I thought I was reading somewhere that you could get up near 20PSI on the T28.

No sir. T28 (the one your using, not all) max's out at 14psi. T28's such as the GT2871R max out around 20psi I think, but I have heard of people pushing 25psi on them.

dunno about the gt287r but the stock s14 turbo can boost 18psi BUT it is beyond its max efficiency so like alex said it is not good 15 psi max

14-15PSI hmmm....300WHP might be unattainable for a T28 then...unless this Blitz ECU is something extraordinary.

Thanks for the correction. It's no disco potato. Just a stock T28 of an S14.

I guess I should be shooting for 260-270WHP.
