Ever hear of that guy who claimed to have an "SE" but said it was 4-lug because it's Canadian?

SE/non SE who cares, SE was better out of the factory, +4 lugs, +more standard stuffs.

Nowadays it doesn't matter because beyond the 5-lug most people upgrade/replace the stuff that seperated base model from SE anyways.

But $4k for a base is high; got my SE (HAH! j/p) for $4100, and got a friend a base model S14 late last year for $3200 clean spec.

Ahhhh im soooo jealous! Not only that mine has numerous dings..... ;_; but the interior is very nice ..... i dont like the black stripe vinyls who ever placed it on the car previously ... and i dont like the swirls due to improper washing and i dont like the DINGGGGSSS!!!! Hopefully i can get removed later by paying one of those paintless repair removal dude...

Hey l2aine you have a sweet site i hope you continue to update!

My title/insurance looks like this:

1996 Nissan 240SX CP/SE

My car is not an SE though. It's basically just saying and/or. That's how it comes up in the system.

I've noticed that agencies have a tendancy to pick SE off the computer screen. When I got my insurane they just picked SE off the computer screen when I was registering my car, even though its a base model. Same thing with the DMV. So dont go by the paperwork, only go by the VIN/MODEL ID #s.

Man, I got 93 s13 and I believe its SE b/c It has:
power door, power window, P-mirror-, sun roof, cruise control, wing, those "sorround" special order speakers, and the really cool Digital speedometer, with windshield reflector. I got my s13 when it looked allright, litle rust on roof, and about every replacebla part (shocks, rack n pinion, some belts, sprak plugs, cables, distri= update) broken for 1700. nd it lasted a year beofre I change those.
