hey i did some searching and looked at reviews but are there any common problems with the HUD that almost always goes wrong in 240's? I am about to buy another 240 and it has no transmission or battery and i was wondering since i can't start the car.

 

Usually they dont even work. Either they just died, speed sensor isnt in right, wiring, knocked out of place.

 

thanks for the info. that sucks i thought it would be pretty cool if it worked. can u fix them cheaply? they were an option in all s13's right?

 

Yep, only options on 91-93 240sx coupe SE

They are pretty easily fixed, but I dont have any first hand experience with them,

 

i dont like the HUD because i found that it laged as i accelerated fast in my old coupe.. i prefer anolog much better in my hatch.
i still have the speedo and HU if you ever need it.
