i didnt say upgrade to a dohc i said geta de head and put it on the sohc block,

 

and if the thought of an rx-8 is in the picture then why not turbo the ka? cause i know rx-8s arent that cheap and with a ka -t your horsepower will give you the rush you want without the major$

 

RX-8 has the intangables: better looks, handles like your on the monorail at Disney, Xenon headlights, Cockpit. Not that I don't like the 240, I do, but the RX-8, is a new reliable ride. I'm just not happy about sinking 30k down!

 

I wouldn't be happy about sinking 30K down on a car that won't last near as a long as a 240sx, lets hope these engines are more reliable than the older one's.

*** da rx8. there are many better choices. like a daewoo leganza or hyundai accent. don't waste your money. and doc. keep that beauty of yours out of the snow.

 

I know! the damn car cover blew off, and some snow got on her, I almost cried. And today my crx won't start, so I need to buy a new battery and stop by my buddies house and pick up some crx parts, but i'm carless. I was going to take the 240sx, but can't take her out in that snow.

for 30K one could get a Evo 8, I've heard some good stuff about those, my buddy wants on sooo bad.

EVO 8 from what i heard from my friend he got one...the clutch on that car sucks...his stock clutch went out on him around 1000 miles..for about 30k i would get a like a used 94 supra twin turbo or a nsx...

 

Supra's are too goofy. Buying a used twinturbo: peeps drive the **** out of them. RSX: terrible interior and FWD. I'm now considering a 2000 328 Ci. Nothing better than a German talk.

 

the Rx8 is a great car...not much down low but the suspension is killer. the Evo8 is a great car as well...so is the WRX. i'd more than likely go with another 240 though and use about 15k to make it one of the better cars out there.
