How to run this wire???

I read the Raine info about the foglight mod, and I think im going to run the wire to the battery. How think should the wire be? and how should I run it from the fuse box to the battery without shorting anything? thanks.

we talked about this on AIM...

...BTW I suggest running an inline fuse if you're going to connect anything directly to the battery, for safety purposes.

I recently installed my silvia front conversion and was wondering if the fog light mod is the same concept raine had on his write up-I have a triple projector btw. The car doesn't have a FR FOG relay in the fuse box either, I guess I'd have to buy one.

That would depend heavily on how much those Silvia headlights are wired into the factory harness. If the triple projectors were wired independently, then it would be easier to wire the fog seperately as if it were an aftermarket setup.

BTW - no foglight relay = you don't have the OEM foglight switch either then?

1. The wires are wired independently.
2. There's no foglight relay-there's a spot for it but there's no relay. What does the FL switch look like? There's a switch next to the rear windshield wiper buttons, but I don't know what purpose it does. I haven't taken the time to look under and follow the wire.

I'm not too sure about S13's, but on my S14 the foglight switch is part of the light/signal stalk
