How to pass SMOG in cali?

After the smog, all you have to worry about is the cop pulling you over and your engine compartment looks weird. They cant really do anything to you except give you a ticket and make you go get a another smog test(And THEY choose the smogger). But if you were street racing and they get you and check under your hood, say bye bye to your car. Once again this is in cali, could be different for other states

just dont do anything stupid on the street that can get u caught for havin the motor

dont give the cops any reason to look under ur hood n ur safe

The problem with California's laws is the arbitrary underhood inspection. Even if you pass the actual smog test with a swapped engine, it's an instant fail as soon as they see the engine. California does this so aftermarket companies have to pay the CARB big bucks to get their stuff smog-legalized. Fookin' government.
The only way around would be to consider a high-hp NA KA or a turbo KA. Either way, you retain the stock engine, but make lots of horsepower from it. Make sure to have a custom exhaust system made with a removable cat so you can just replace the cat with some straight piping after you get the car smogged. Not that I condone such activities.
