How fast are these?
If you had a 240 with an sr20det
built and stuff
can they beat most street cars?
Say GT mustangs, srt4s, evos?
I'm just curious as to what to expect. I have much more reading to do, but I'm just throwin it out there out of curiosity.

if you get an sr20det installed to stock specs, it won't be all that much quicker than any of those cars. that doesnt mean it wont be more fun than any of those cars. also, if you do put an fmic, boost control, fpr, nice exhaust and header, you will pretty much dominate all but the all wheel drive cars like the sti or the evo. please everyone, feel free to correct me if im wrong.

just know that there are now many more options to work with than just the sr20 route. rb motors are awsome, the ka is a great motor some say equal or superior to the sr, and ca18det motors are still available. just study and read as much as possible to figure what you think suits u. good luck and let us know what happens. i forgot to add, you can also put a v8 into the engine bay of a 240.

if you want a drag car dont buy a 240, save them for other people who are going to use them for something they are better at...if you want an all around fun car then the 240 gives you a little of everything

wow, i know i was the one that suggested the whole v8 option, but i must say i cant agree with motegineon more. that is by far the smartest idea i think on this forum. save us the cars. seriously. like the "if you dont want some its more for me" kinda mentality you would see at a dinner table. lol. i like it.
