How do you rig the foglights to independently turn on? (s14)

Hey. I noticed this on l2iane's car domain (you got one of the cleanest s14s i've seen btw ) and noticed he rigged the foglights to have them turn on without the headlights being on or on with the highbeams still on. I have a vague idea of how to do this but some people have experience. Could somebody post a quick how-to or give me a bit of direction on this?

Thanks.

Never done it but it sounds simple. All you should have to do is find the control wire on the headlight **** and cut it off. Wire it to a manual on/off switch and splice the ground to create a ground and cut and splice the 12v constant for a power source for the new switch. This should give you manual control of your fogs. Just be sure to tape up the cut ends off the factory **** so you dont create any shorts.

On 'stangs you just flip the turn on wire for the fogs from the headlight terminal to the parking light terminal. Then, whenever the parking lights are on the fogs are on.

appreciated.

It's pretty easy actually - all you need to do is run a "control wire" directly to the fog light relay, bypassing the factory wiring to allow you to turn the foglights on at will.

You know what, you just gave me an idea for another garage guide; I'll have it up later today (just have to basically take some pics since I've already done it, and write some text out)

So if you don't mind waiting a little, I'll have it up as soon as I can
