Holes On Trunk From Spoiler!

Hi everybody im pretty new to the forums and pretty new to 240sx's and what you can do to them performance wise. My neighbor has a 1990 240sx with 86k miles on it which I'm thinking about buying. but the exterior is beat to shiznit. There used to be a spoiler on the car but was probably stolen or sold. I looked at where the spoiler used to be and theres like 4-6 holes total with just the most discusting rust spots around the holes. If I buy this car how can i get rid of these holes? (im newb)

Thanks for all your help!!

1. go to the junkyard and try to find a wingless hatch

2. get rid of the rust and weld the holes closed grind them down then bondo

3. if you use body filler it will kick you in the *** in the long run

oh yeah buy the car you'll fall in love with it

But the only problem with the car is that it's an auto!!

Tranny swap later!!

Okay i've heard of bondo but have never seen it used or seen the after effects of it. Can you help me out a bit more on the bondo?

before you go and buy a automatic, you should look for a stick. A 1990 240sx should go for $900-$2000 because its a sohc. Just a suggestion.

89-90 sohc
91-94 dohc

First use mineral spirit to clean any rust off the metal........
Then use metal primer epoxy to seal the metal...
Interior of the trunk patch holes with kitty hair.......
On the exterior of the trunk patch holes with bondo, and sand till baby *** smooth............
Then apply primer and paint.........
