ok I found out that I need a tach adaptor. but I got another question. is the MSD tach adaptor interchangealbe with the Cranecam one? since I can find MSD much cheaper I wonder if it will work with my Crane Hi-6?

either tach adapter should work as long as the crane hi6 has a tach output terminal like the msd ignition has... if there is a plug in terminal for on the crane then there should be no problem using it...

on the same subject... how do you like the crane hi6??? and how easy was the installation??? and last thing could you post pics???

well there is one green wire for after market tach. but the way the tach adapter work is to generate the high voltage signal for the OEM tach. so the MSD tach adapter is only wiring to the 2 original line to the coil right? or does it need to be connect to the after market tach line on the Crane hi-6 also?

anyway I didn't drive much after I install but my friends has an FC with Greddy TD-06 turbo and he gets 2 more mile per gallon just from this upgrade alone. so I guess it's pretty good and it will pay itself back with today's high gas price.

see if I can take picture and post tomorrow
