Help!

-The slave cylinder went on my friends rb20. Does the 300zx slave cylinder fit? Is there any usdm car that has an identical slave cylinder?

buy an oem 240sx slave cylinder. available at any auto parts store.

not sure if the 300zx cylinder fits or not, ask to see both at the auto parts store. if it looks the same go for it. easy fix.

btw if you have dampner box still remove it and it makes bleeding the system easier. you'll have to bleed the system when you do the slave cylinder swap

while we're on the matter of the damper, can someone who's removed it some time ago assure me that there are no ill affects as a result. be it premature wear of components or even excessive peddle pressure.

stiffer pedal pressure. the dampner has a large tube that runs out behind it and then comes back into the box. the fluid gets cooled when pumped through the tube. so it may help keep consistent temperatures inside the line. i personally didn't find it any more difficult to push my clutch in without the box, and it cleaned up the plumbing for the clutch. i'm all for removing it.
