Has anyone tried by-passing the clutch bleeder box
hey, has anyone tried by-passing the clutch bleeder box, so the main clutch hard line from the "clutch master cylinder" is not connected directly to the "clutch slave cylinder". I tried doing that and gently bended the main clutch hard line so it is facing the "clutch slave cylinder" and I just screw it into the factory rubber clutch hose.
the problem i'm having now is that its leaking from the fitting, so after a few pump from the clutch pedal i would loose all clutch pressure because all the fluid leaked out.
i was thinking of using that orange thread seal or something.....So has aone tried this and have a leak problem, any ideas to fixing it...now i know some of you are going to say put everything back the way it was...lol ^_^ but i'd like to try and solve it first.

i did it after tryign to get air out of the stupid box for like 3 hours
you do crazy things when youre mad. dont regret it at all, slightly (if noticeable at all) rougher pedal feel but its more race-car-ish than bothersome. make sure to clean the threads before screwing it in for a tight seal. dont over torque it cus itll easily strip (that baby aint never coming off). try some water tape ppl use for house hold plumbing

thanx for the replies, some told me to try the teflon tape or automotive silicone gasket seal, or the flare isn't the proper size...but for now i'm force to put the that bleeder box back on for now since its my only ride. I'll try again another time when i get back to cali.

This is great news for me since I am about to do a 5spd swap and was concerned about this bleeder box issue. I was just going to connect the hardline directly to the flex like that is connected to the slave cylinder but was concerned it would mess up the clutch bleeding. Any sudjestions on where to run the harline along the bottom if your not using a bleeder box?
