Engine Codes... irritating me!!!

Engine Codes... irritating me!!!

Ok... so I keep throwing codes, pulling them, and they're always the same.

32 - EGR Malfunction - Cali Model WTF! My car is an original KY car. Help?

34 - Knock Sensor - Damnit, do these go bad? How can I tell?

72 - Catalyic Converter - bla bla bla, ok so its bad, I'll just get rid of it.

103 - Park/Neutral Switch - Where is this located? Car is a 5-speed, whats the fix for it?

But, FWIW the car runs great. No real problems that I have encountered.

theres something you have to connect to make the park/nuetral go away... i'm sure someone knows, just connecting two wires

Well, I cleared my codes today in between squal lines (my area got hit hard by really bad t-storms and tornados), and I drove around for a lil bit tonight when everything calmed down. The car hasn't thrown any more codes... yet. Maybe they won't again :cross fingers:

knock sensors can go bad and i hear it's a b1tch to replace.

I dont know why it would be hard to replace... its right on the front of the engine.

3. ...

...are you pulling the codes using the ECU diagnostic or real shop scanner (i.e. SnapOn)? Or are you using some universalgenericworkswithallimports scanner thing from like Kragen?

I'm getting them straight from the ECU.. Yea, I'm clearing them because its not hurting anything to clear them. First couple of times I've cleared them, those codes did not come back after I fixed them, then the ECU threw new codes. A couple of these I cannot fix mysef.

wrong... its under your intake mani between #2 and#3 intake ports

thats the sub harness connector for the knock sensor
