Electrical problems..dash clock acting crazy and..

Yesterday I was installing a new radio and noticed that as soon as I disconnect the factory radio the dash clock went out. I finished the installation and the clock was still off(no back light, no digits)as soon as I turn the ignition on the clock comes on and starts the time count, as soon as I turn the ignition off the clock dies again. Also the seat belts are not resetting like they are suppose to. If you kill the ignition, they are suppose to retract, they stay on and the only way to reset them is to turn the key and open the door.....Also the CD player/radio kicks the CD because is missing the "memory voltage" to go to ON status like everything else.....Looks like the electrical is going completely dead with the iginition off....as suppose to maintain some voltage to keep the clock running, etc....This are the only problems I have observed so far. Its there a common fault to all these??? Is there a way to reset the computer??? (If is a computer problem...) I will appreciate all your help on this issue.. All fuses seem to be good.I have a 1989 SX .

Thanks!

Eureka!! all systems operational!!!

After opening the service manual and checking the schematics and a little systematic troubleshooting I found the problem, the fuse for "Room light" (or someting like that...) was burned. I noticed also that the interior and cargo light were out, I thought at one point was the time control unit..... Well all the symptoms were common to that fuse, and voila! quick check and replaced. Just wanted to let everybody know in case somebody runs into the same problem......

PS. I must it burn the fuse while splicing the radio harness....

Here is the correct info.....

I received an email from a fellow forum member about the correct term for the fuse that caused all my problems due to him having the same difficulties with his 240...Sorry dude I misplaced your email so here the info in case you are tracking this thread... the fuse is called: "room lamp" or "light control" , theres 2 fuses with those names and right now I can remember which it is,,, check them both.........
