effing tail lights

soo basically, my car isnt street legal at nights til i get this issue fixed... my tail lights dont work.
my rear signals all work, my brake lights work, my reverse works. all work except my tail lights. and its not the fuse, because according to my fsm, the fuse for tail lights also is the fuse for turn signals and the chime, both of wich work. and tis not the bulbs, because i have replaced them, and still nothin. i dont know what else to check, soo... anyone with any ideas would be nice. thanks holmeses.

Whatever it is it must be spreading because my drivers side tailight, the brake light works but the tailight does not all of a sudden. I put brand spanking new bulbs in and replaced the fuse that was popped. I'm gonna try and track down the problem and fix it though.

try checking all the fuses on the kickpanel and under the hood. sometimes, for weird reasons things like that have secondary fuse linked to another. i work as a car audio installer, and i've seen fuses popped that has seemed like it has nothing to do with what im trying to fix. aside from that check the voltage from the fuse and where the bulb goes.

soo, in the fourth slot on the right row on the kick panel, there is a fuse that is for tails, and i pulled that, and look, blown. so i replace that, still no lights. so i do a little more research, and there is a secondary fuse in slot 7 of the same side that is also for tails. this one is fine. soo... still dont know whats going on.

Just do like the guy on Pimp My Ride who had the Mercury Cougar. His car's tail lights didnt work so he printed out a piece of paper that said "My Tail Lights Don't Work" and tape it to the back of your car.
