I forgot.. I do have a digital camera.. here are the pictures of the altinator and the wheel im talking about.. also a picture of the vaccume lines im talking about www.infectedsource.com/240sx

those pics didnt help, can u show me a shot of the engine bay? and take pics a lil far away so it isnt so blurry

ok go back to www.infectedsource.com/240sx and check out the altinator.jpg and the wheel.jpg.. them are a little better

Thats what im trying to figure out.. does a bolt just go in there or does that wheel... or where does that wheel go ?

naaa its not the wheel its a bolt thats supposed to just hold the alternator in place. dam that place screwed you man.

Well ok i found a bolt that would work.. its not really that big but i put a nice size washer on it.. the thing will hold the altinator i believe... but what about that wheel?? where does that wheel go man i cant figure it out

First off the 1998 Frontier came with the single row chain KA24DE, not the E.
Even if you did get a 98 frontier block it wouldn't fit in the 240sx due to clearance issues with the oil pan.
A ka24e and de are both front oil sump systems, the oil is pumped at the front of the engine.
Frontier KA24e and de's are both rear sump which means the oil is pumped from the rear of the engine. This makes the locations of the pans different. Unless the steering rack and crossmembers are completly reconfigured there is NO WAY to use the truck blocks on the 240sx.
I know this as FACT I own a Nissan Hardbody with NAPSz24i, and a 240sx with KA24de.......

yeah this sucks i dont even know engine i got!!! does anyone out there happen to know what engine i have... or what its out of ? Its got to be a KA24E.. This company could not tell me what engine they send me.. they told me its out of a truck.. they said the only truck engines they have are frontiers... I dont think they know what there talking about.. the engine is all the same it bolted up but the block is diffrent.. it has a place for the starter where my old engine didnt someone please help me

I found the stamp on the side of the block about center block driver side and the stamp says KA24 156657W can anyone tell me what engine i have and what its out of ?

I have everything on my car put back together other then the vaccume lines.. there are 3 on the throttle body right under the air intake here is a picture of them.. www.infectedsource.com/240sx/vaccume.jpg can someone please tell me where these lines go

I don't even have to look at the pic to know what it is. Dont hook up the 2 big bottom 2, there is a method called coolant bypass that keeps the tb cooler, if you don't run the coolant lines through it. All you need is the small pee wee line connected.
