um....i highly doubt it......if anything i think it would be the opposite.
no matter what the engine is gonna make the same amount of power....it's just the efficiency of the transmission that get's it to the wheels....and i am pretty sure that it would be the other way around because whenever you see brochures for cars or anything....the manuals 0-60 is always faster....plus there are weight differences probably...plus i dunno...lots of stuff....but who the hell would want an automatic....lol...i have one...i wish i had a 5speed...

lol, It's 100% true. All you need for that to work is one of those Turbo blowers they sell on Ebay for like $150, they add like 50 hp, and then a resistor chip they sell for like $20, they add 20 hp too.
Except the exact opposite. Changing your ECU from 5spd to auto would almost 100% certainly make it slower.

There isnt very much difference between the auto and manual in the first place. In fact the auto's 50-70 time is quicker than the manual! but if i were you i'd stick with the manual coz the auto can only handle power increases of upto 300bhp where as the manual can handle upto 600bhp!
