Burn out V.2

OK, im sure a few of you have read my first post on this, Last time I burned out it wore my clutch down alot, I was able to feel it, I was thinking and this seemed like a better Idea so I did it, Instead of poping the clutch I just like let it out agressively, Its kinda hard to explain but I let it out till itfelt rite and then slammed the throttle, THIS TIME IT DIDNT JACK UP MY CLUTCH!!
So is this like a good way to launch, is this how most people launch and burn-out please tell me all your opions.
Ryan

yes, if you're launching for example you want to slip the clutch because if you just pop the clutch and gun it, the clutch will take all that torque instantaneously and your wheels will spin.
if you slip the clutch and let it grip and then gun it, it'll put less strain on the tranny , but may also wear your clutch out if you do it everyday.

kuz of the torque dude.
too much torque and the clutch couldn't handle it, so it wore the clutch faster, this makes your tires spin and you don't go anywhere.
as i posted in the earlier post, when you popped the clutch, all that torque was too much for your clutch/tranny to handle.
if you had a fwd car, that would cause major wheel hop and tire spin.

I know it as feathering clutch i drove a camaro for a bit, you get pretty good at it when you can spin at idle
and 2000rpms = not going anywhere

agressively let it out, Thats exactly what i say! no one every understands it, i know what your saying, pretty much everything hurts your clutch except driving normal, Im just nice to mine and only rape it when i have to. How hard is it to pull the tranny off the KA and change the clutch ???? my bmw's tranny is the hardest thing i have ever done. i hope the ka istn that hard im supposed to get a 89s13 i guess. its a coupe style not the hatch. NE WAYS NEW MEMBER and i know more about my firstgen RX-7 and All my bimmers than this car but i still love this forum.

You mean you don't like dumping the clutch?? Well it's good if you want a nice peel out and just letting it slip is just a normal take off. Just dump it at a low rpm nothing to high cuz Ka's just produce so much torque it will eat right through it.
Then when you get after first don't let off the gas when you shift just shift as fast as possible and tell me how many shifts does the wheel Bark. I imagen it barks all the way to the third shift.....

I want a manual tranny soooo bad!!
