i wasnt sure what thread to put this in so ya... sorry if i was wrong

i broke my key in my ignition

its more then half way in n i kant really see it
how do i take out the whole ignition apart
the screws on the bottom of it isnt reallie a screw

i was wonder how can i get out my key
ne good ideals?

need helpz or else im going to be startin my car wit a screw drive for awhile

hey i just helpd my dad took out his key last night..LAST night..it broke on him also...use a paper clip..thin one..bend it at the end..and with another paper clip hold the slot up..and drag it out slowly..workd for me..or u can use bubble gum..but not to much.

 

i got it outs

i had to take it all apart i start wit take off the panel off the bottome then then neck part then i needed a punch n a hammer to take it off because the bottom screws to the ignitions areadin philps or nuts or any thin and then theres some little lock sticks that keep the thing together n i drilled that a lil then tapped it outs n thane i got it outs... ignitions cost like 140 bux... hell no im payin for that... cause im broke as a joke
