Autopower S13 roll bar in S14

Autopower S13 roll bar in S14
I am trying to find out if the race roll bar made by Autopower for the S13 would fit in an S14. This is the email I got back from I/O Port Racing Supplies about it:
The cars are awfully similar...the seats are interchangeable. I hesitate to have Autopower make the bar and send it off to me considering it's non-returnable. Does anyone know if the interiors of the two cars are similar enough to use the same roll bar?
I don't want to go custom for two reasons--no one around me does them; and even if I could find a place, it'd be a lot more expensive than $300 plus shipping.

Autopower and Kirk Racing do not make a bar for your car. We do not
know if anyone has tried an earlier series roll bar in the later car. Check with body shop manuals for the two cars and see if the floor, roof and rear wheel wells are in the same position. This might help.
