Angry

So I go with my friend to pick up his ITR engine at a warehouse, which was awesome btw, lots of sr20s and rbs of all types, and realize they sell used exhaust. Bought a used Fujitsubo Legalis-R, practically new, for 100 dollars. Get home, and realize its for an S15 and the hangers are all different .
I am angry because its a beautiful exhaust that sell for almost 800 brand new and I have to exchange it for something else (yea they are letting me do it), probably a Buddy Club Spec II which has nothing on the Fujitsubo.
Have any of you guys heard one in person, is it raspy or does it sound good?

if its just the hangers that are different, then just weld new ones on, do it yourself, or have a shop do it for ~$100.

although, BC spec IIs are super hot as well.

if you can't do it yourself look around. a shop here in town will do custom work very cheap and they do a really good job.

I looked into it, he the first one wanted 140, the second one 250, so I'll just get the buddy club spec 2, or maybe another fujitsubo that will actually fit my car without modyfying. Either way, its a good deal no matter what.

putting on a new flange, shortening the length of the pipe and new hangers for $140? that's a rip.

if you really want the exhaust you got, i'd just spend another $140 and you'll have what you want, @ $240 for an exhaust you can't complain.

i guess now you know why it was $100.

i recommend obx because they are about $200 shipped on ebay. the material and welds are top notch.
