Aftermarket steering wheel horn.

The guy i bought my 240 from had already put in an aftermarket steering wheel, but he neglected to install the horn as well. all i have to work with is the air bag, horn and cruise connector that goes to the stock steering wheel, and the ground that is already there. i can ground it but i cant get the horn connected. how do i connect the horn button without having to rig some mess together just so i can pass the damn north carolina inspection.

well, all 240's are diferent, so I don't know if you have a 89, 91-93 94-96 96-+ 240. they are all diferent. specifiying would be nice. Now if you really need to pass the inspection, I recomend hookid it up to some witch by the driver area so that you can pass it. Then you can figure it out.

yeah you just have to have a horn that works to pass, does nto have tobe on the steering wheel. ran into this prob with my friends 77 plymouth volare. they dont make the parts to fix the horn, so he put a button to the left of the steering wheel on the dash wiothin reach, adn it passed no prob. then you can get inspected and fix the horn correct later.

north carolina has some gay inspection laws... just wire it up with a push button from autozone or something... then put the stock steering wheel back on!
