accident pic..need opinions

hey guys..i got into a little accident yesterday and rear ended someone..it was on teh streets too..what sucks is that it was an old lady and she stopped on the yellow and i thought she was goin..tried to stop but started skidding..its pretty much my fault cuz whenever you hit someone from the back its the person in the backs fault...the car i happened to hit was a jaguar too..ahhh well my insurance will cover for her damage (hers just needs a paintjob but mine got messed up) ...what do u guys think? you think i can fix this myself with a rubber mallet? what should i do? *note: im low on cash*

try to straighten out the bumper. See if the light assembly is bent if so try to straigten that as well. The fender doesnt look to bad so you can fix that pretty easy. as for the hood, get one from a junkyard or suttin. it doesnt look like it but the make sure the frame isnt bent but all n all its a pretty easy fix. Where u located? im in Paterson NJ i can fix it for ya.

can you show me a shot from the front? thanx

naa that hood is bent too much. you can try to do it but from experience (i do autobody on my spare time) hoods are better to be replaced cus the skeleton on the underside of the hood wont really go back to its original shape which will leave the hood looking bent and out of shape. You'll also have dents.

where u located?

something very similar happened to me except since i had a strut bar on there my shock tower got ripped up like Wolverine clawed it. cost to fix was more than the cost of the car so i sold it. find out how much youd need to repair it and if all else fails parting it out would get you the most money. gluck

CHECK THE PIPING maybe you did bend or crack the intercooler pipes.

you prob knocked the radiator support out. hopefully it doesnt need welding to fix.

heres what you do to be sure whats bad and whats not.

Take the front bumper off and check all the pipes, supports, and basically the whole front half of the car. Post whats bent/broken and ill let you know if its fixable. Good luck bro, i hope u dont have to part it out.

(try to get me sum pics of the car without the bumper and support and also take sum pics of what ever might be messed up.) ill try my best to help you out. Wish you was in NJ i woulda fixed it for you, no charge.

its doesnt look to bad. try to get that support as straight as possible. straighten the fender and try to fix up that intercooler.

you can try to fix that light but best thing to do is go to junkyard and get the bumper and light assembly so everything is straight and will work good.
