sell the supra buy a mustang if you want to drag its cheaper and has more power lol

nah but anyway supra is better simply because it has a bigger more powerfull engine you have a better starting platform then the ka either way both cars can be insanely fast with the right amount of money and the supra would be cheaper in the long run but the mustang would be even more cheaper haha

You my friend get it. To be a true car enthusiast is to be open to new ideas. To be a seasoned enthusiast is to become intimately familiar with the cost to value aspect of tuning. Now for daily driven, inexpensive, very fast drag car I am going to say +1 on the Mustang idea. Mustangs are very affordable and it takes very little money to get them in the 12's.

Now for the 240 vs Supra. I would say go Supra but first go to a supra site and see what types of power levels and 1/4 mile times guys are producing with the budget you have in mind. Then do the same thing here.

Depends on your budget. The Supra is a heavier platform, I prefer the weight savings of the 240sx. To be brutally honest, each option is not optimal. The 89 Supra has the ****ty 7MGTE motor...junk. The 89 240sx utilizes the sohc ka24 motor....140hp...either way you'll need to be doing some work to get them fast. I prefer the lighter chassis of the 240sx. I have no problems taking out supras here with the same hp....I'm a firm believer in hp to weight ratio.

well...im with fireplug on this one...not to mention his 240 does have over 600 horse and with just that i can tell you that his car is really fast.
heres a small comparison...my 240(s13 redtop, moderate mods) 250whp...in the mid to low 13's....so take 600+ whp and do the math.

supra on the other hand. potential up the a$$...but go with the wieght savings right off the bat

If we bring up the topic of swapping motors, then it's totally different. Let's just keep it along the lines of the stock 7m and ka-e
