Hey has anyone ever had problems opening there trunk? I just went driving one night and the next morning my trunk wouldn't open when i use the driver side lever. I have to use the key to open it. And when i pull the lever i can hear the latch or wutever you call it trying to let go but it wont open. It's not that big of a problem cause i can still open it with the key, but it's kind of anyoning. Any help would be great.


Oh also how do u guys think these rims would look on a 1998 green 240sx? http://jspec.com/5zigtyp5lug.html Gunmeatel of hyper Black? My friend was telling me about an offset of like 20 something would look nice, but i don't really under stand the whole offset thing. Wut i want is a good size for alot of grip and some wide tires that won't give me any problems. So basiclly wide fat and tight. What i mean is i want good performans wheels for grip. Then later on mabe i'll get another set thatz good for Drifting. Tell me wut you think and wut kind of rims you guys have so u can help me out. thanx

Your release cord might have been knocked loose or something like that. And the rims are nice, good offset also.

 

Open your trunk and look at the latch on the body part. You should be able to move it up and down, and it will lock at two different places.

Move it to the "up" position (I think, it could be the bottom one) and close the trunk.

Problem should be solved.

 

yea it happened to me on my 98 jus pull that latch up with something and the problem should be gone
