weird power window problem

ok check this out.. my driver side window works fine. but when i try to roll down the passenger window from the drivers side, it doesnt go down. I have to use the passenger side button to roll down the passenger side. But, i can roll up the window from the driver side. And sometimes, the passenger side doesnt work either. but when i push the driver side "power window console"? it works but i have to hold the whole plastic part down. is there something the console has to hold on to in order to work? or maybe some other electical problem. any ideas? sorry if my problem was confusing.

I am having a similar problem, where my drivers side window only goes down when it wants to, but it will always go back up... next warm day I can go to the junk yard, I may buy a new switch and see if that fixes the problem...

check motors and switches and make sure you don't have the window lock button on lol

I had the same problem with the window not wanting to go up sometimes but always going down, replaced my power window amp and I haven't had a problem since.
