seat harness...install?
ok i may sound like a n00b which i am, but how would i hold down the seat harness. Say a 4 point harness.. do i need a c-pillar bar? or is there a way to get the harness tied down tight and safe.. and still use the rear seats? last time i check which was years ago there wasnt and the only way to use a harness was with a c-pillar bar and that made the rear seat unusable

your talking about a 240sx right? well unless your a small dog the 240sx rear seats are unusable.
anyway just make sure the shoulder straps are no more then a 45 degree angle if the shoulder straps are pointed down in more then a 45 degree angle its extremely dangerous and will cause spinal compression in an accident.

Harnesses are a no no on any car without a cage. You change the dynamic of your body during a roll over crash and will more than likely die. It sounds harsh but in a rollover your body is free to compress away from the seat where with harnesses your body is anchored and head will remain in position. That means if your roof gets crushed, so does your head.

its a seatbelt its not a harness but it goes around the seat and around your body and you make it tight so it holds you to the back of the seat. i use this when i go auto-x it works really well lol ill look for the website and its not too expensive.
also harness's can get expensive esp if you use them to race because they have experation dates and a track wont let you use them if they are expired no matter how good the condition of the seat belts are
