faded seat
ok so i have some racing seats in my car but they are really faded from the sun. i've seen spray dye for fabric but i don't want to find out the hard way if that stuff is any good or not. if anyone has used it before or something similar i'd like to know if it's something i should consider using or not.

-Find a spray paint color the same color as your seat was. Spray the paint on to your fingers and rub into the fabric. Repeat until your seat is recolored. Since you rub the paint into the fabric, it keeps it from getting hard and crusty. It justs absorbs into the fabric and dries.

^^^im sure thatll work...
i sprayed my headboard and my carpet black with duplicolor fabric paint. came out alright. im not sure how thatd work on a seat. its already starting to fad on my carpet. lol. they have something called SEM paint. never used it before tho. mabey you should look into that.

do i sense some hostility here?
i didn't say it was a stupid idea or anything along those lines so knock it off with that "worth more than your car".
i appreciate that you bothered to give advice. if you took offense to what i said well i'm sorry but i'm not about to get into an argument over it. that's not what this thread is about
