I was wondering who here has done a vq swap (if any) and how bad it was. Im thinking about doing this with my car. Although I love ka's, I really want more power, but cheaper. Even though a vq isnt cheap, I know a mild turbo build for a ka really isnt that expensive, but taking the time to get it tuned and all is just too much for me. I hear vq's in 240s run high 12's? If im wrong please correct, but this sounds pretty fun for me. Itll be a while, but I thinks its something to consider.

There is also a full write up on nico.... it may be cheaper now..

the guy who did it was a Nissan Tech and had tools at his disposal that most normal people cant get. Just be aware that the newer motor requires much more electrical work.
