I know that some people have put ls1,2's,and 7's in a 240, I would be pretty sure that it would have no problem fitting.

no one here that i know of has but i've seen it done.

it's just like any other engine swap that wasn't meant for the s chassis.

I finished my swap almost a year ago. What info do you need to know? I did the swap myself and swapped in a buddy's this past August so I have a good amount of knowledge. I also put togther a kit for the swap. Hit me up with questions whenever. Most people that complain about the swap not being a good choice for the sacred 240sx are ones that never rode in an LSX powered 240. Ride in one and you will convert! Trust me.

I believe the "Ministry of Drift" was running a LS1 RX7 FC at VIR sadly it didn't drift too well, but it sounded like a beast.

I have seen some photos of the hinson kits with the T56 and the trans doesn't line up well at all. I didn't use a kit on mine, and there is another guy on LS1tech.com who made his kit, the T56 lines up perfect and his is plated and using a rear sump pan. The best one I have seen so far..... besides mine lol
