turbo-xs type -h-rfl BOV

Will this BOV be alright on my sr20det? i have been told that since it is not a recurculating BOV i will expirience problems when shifting, like bogging out.

Don't use it. You will experience problems that won't be worth the nice psshhht sound. Only use a non-recirculating bov if you switch to standalone or some other map sensor type fuel management.

i have an rfl...its loud and sounds pretty bad ***...however youll expierence some backfire and stalling problems...my car is fine now with that greddy intake mani...although it still drops rpms while coming to a stop it wont come close to stalling....if i would do it all over agian i would get a 100% recirc...or at least a 50/50 recirc...good luck

i heard the RFL on a WRX and it was the loudest bov ive ever heard, seriously it was painful. but that could have been since it was on the dyno personally i would go with a blitz DD or an HKS SS

I run an RFL on my eclipse gsx, but i also have an hks vpc which eliminates the MAF. It IS STUPIDLY LOUD. for my sr swap i purchased a greddy type s BOV because you can recurculate it if you choose or vent it. Depending on how high you boost you might want to stay away from an rfl. On race fuel my eclipse boosts to 26psi and sometimes the BOV won't close. it will stay open for a couple of seconds after letting off. i have had horrible luck with my rfl. if you want a REALLY HIGH PSI BOV i would suggest the TIAL, but only if you plan to boost OVER 20 PSI. my install should be done soon with the greddy type s. i will let you know what i think, but even though the noise is cool on the rfl my overall opinion of it is that it is a piece of junk.

basically just put what you want... frequent daily commuters will just think something is wrong with your car anyway..
