Is the SR20DET's valve train its Achilles tendon?
OK, Ive heard over and over that the SR20DET has a weak valve train? Is this true? And if so, wut is the problem with it and wut can be done to fix the problem?

Rocker arm stopper, Head bolts, and Head gasket. That should take on a little more abuse from high boost or high revs.

The only thing I've seen/heard supporting this is, that the valves float past 8K rpm. Other than that I've never had to deal with a weak/bad valve train on both fwd and rwd SR's. But as S14ilvia said, a set of rocker arm stoppers would take care of that.

definatly get RAS. i overeved my engine ONCE!!, and got 2 broken rocker arms, and one out of position.
