SR20det won't start..

i recieved the car with the engine in it, i've heard it running before.. the person who had the car before me had an aftermarket exhaust manifold and a T3/T4 turbo. i recieved the stock turbo/manifold and such with the car, added a 1gDSM bypass valve and sidemount and custom IC piping.

the car won't start when i crank on it, i noticed the engine ground wires smoking, they got very hot. i added another ground and the engine cranked harder but still did not start. it smells like the engine is flooded..

my question is, will the car start without the O2 sensor hooked up, is that what the problem is or is it most likely something different?

he had an AFC hooked up in the car, so i believe that i will have to add my own wires to the ecu for the O2 sensor. offhand do any of you have a diagram of ECU pinouts or vacuum?

thank you

you said he had an afc installed did he or you reinstall the factory wiring back to stock. if so recheck your wiring and for the ground wires getting hot are you sure they are ground wires and not power wires.

yeah if the AFC was removed the MAFS wire will be unhooked and it probably won't start, or if it does very poorly.
