Unhappy SR20DET breaks up & shuts off at idle???

Can you guys please help me I have a problem with my car. I have a SR20DET S14, and every so often I would let the car idle in neutral and out of no where the car will just shut off. Sometimes when I try to give the car gas out of no where it will break up and it would not let it go past that specific rpm that I'm at and it would just shut off after. Today I reved the car to 2000 RPM and then the car hesitated and broke up and when I tryed to give it gas it was like sometihing was holding it back from giving the car gas and then it shut off. I changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, and the spark plugs. I searched through the forum by reading other problems and I think it's the TPS Sensor. But the car has also been sitting in my back yard for 5 months and I would start the car daily though. My brother said I just have to blow that stuff out of the motor because it's been sitting back there for so long and starting it daily still is not the same as driving the car. Can someone please help me. I need help please ....

check Mafs, TPS, and wiring. Rats, mice, and condensation can do bad things to a car sitting for 5 months. A friend of mine even found his daughters rabbit had eaten the coil wires off his RX-7. Take this from a guy who's dirt bike airbox was packed full of dog food over winter.
