SR20DE vs SR20DET

Other than the turbo, are there any differences between the two? Thanks,

Not 100% sure but Im just going by memory

The head is different, obvisouly the power, internals...maybe more. Its better to just get the SR20DET, not the DE.

I read some where that the internals are the same. But I will take your word Jynx! Thanks,

i just finished building an DET and a DE. just about everything is different. i used the pistons out of the DE but when i went to turn the engine to make sure it turned over smooth the pistons hit the oil squirters. i found out the DET pistons have notches cut out for the oil squirters. i just modified the oil squirters and so far it looks like it will work.the DET also has bigger rods and lower compression. i think the crankshaft is the same also.

i used to own a DE, and i can tell you from experience the engine is good enough for drifting. as far as turbo'n it, that's not very bright. just get a DET.
