SR20[b]V[/b]ET!

I saw on fresh alloy that there is the sr20vet. the v, instead of d, means that it has varial valve timing, and dohc. Wouldnt this be better than the sr20det? how much more would the car cost, and would nissans version of varial valve timing be useless with an upgraded bump stick?

*I think* that the SR20VET is only available on the Nissan X-Trail (SUV).

There are normally aspirated SR16VE's and SR20VE's. Anyone know the stock HP rating on the NA and Turbo'ed motors?

sr20vet is 278bhp and came on the X-Trail GT (direct ignition) and has variable valve lift and timing (VVL) system
the sr20ve n/a came with 187bhp/144tq
