S15 Motor Swap into S13 Chassis

This may already be on the forums, and if thats the case then just direct me there, but I did some searching and couldn't find anything.

How difficult is it to swap the S15 SR20 motor into an S13 chassis. I have heard that it can be extremely difficult, so I was just curious if anyone has done the swap before or heard anything about it.

Thanks

Im pretty sure all SR20's are interchangable as in the swap...I've never heard that its any different from the other models.

It is actually more difficult due to the fact that you will need the s15 rear end as well, due to the speed sensor being located there. I also believe you will need to modify an s14 driveshaft or use a custom shaft. The 6spd transmission is also weak compared to the other sr 5spd transmissions, which are geared basically the same.

IMO not really. For the higher cost of the s15 SR, you could get an s13 SR and use the leftover money and get more out of it.

No there's a difference.....I like the 240, I think it is different in it's own rights, but everyone and the grandmother has taken an s13 sr20 and swapped it in.....there are other options to take and thats all I was saying......
