still going to keep it auto???

youll have to rewire the whole lower harness because the connectors that go into the fuse panal are not the same. I/e youll need to wire in the starter, altenator, oil pressure sending unit, reverse lights, speed sensor, wiper motor, and neutral switch. may have missed something

also the connector that goes from the engine harness to the sub harness in the dash will not be the same. youll have to rewire everything to the dash connector for the s15. things like the tach signal, speed signal, water temp, etc

y dont you just sell the s13 engine/tranny an get an s15 tranny an longblock, then you can upagrade what you want before you put it in, and you wont have to rewire the entire car
itll prolly cost you a lil more money, but would save you a huge pain in the ***

unless you for some reason REALLLY enjoy electrical work, i no i dont

i am thinking about that but i've heard alot of stuff about the s15 transmissions not being worth it. i was thinking maybe getting the s15 long block with an uncut harness and an auto tranny from an s14?

never heard anything bad about s15 auto-tranny but that maybe becuase there arnt many of them. the s15 6-speed trannies only have problems when making decent power 300+.

why not go 5 or 6 speed?

automatic sucks and i bet if u do anything to the motor the torque converter will start slipping
