the older systems have the secondary valves in the runners. you can take them out and plug the hole on the side of the manifold with jb weld. and or you can switch to a newer s14 manifold that doesn't have them.

check out the free mod section brother you will see more about it.

i believe the manifolds are exaclty the same except for the butterflys and the vacuum nipples that operate the butterflys.... the best option would be to port out the s14 manifold with a ported out throttlebody and remove all the emissions ..... and last but not least try out the new thermal gaskets... since you will need a new gasket anyways... all of this total should increase about 5 hp or maybe even more im just low ballin cause i dunno for sure.... dyno before and after

sweet. thats pretty kool right there. Makes me feel like the s14 motor might come into more use than i thought. I was outside earlier when i got off work (9am) and took all the emission crap and vacuum lines off. My question is.....which lines, if any-do i have to route for vacuum?? and/or which ones to cap off?? i hav a box of vacuum caps in all kinds of sizes, figured it'd help again(used them when i removed the AVI system). I deff lik how clean it looks without that crap in there. thanks guys

yea check out the free mod thread bro.... all the info is there.. no point in reproducing it. if you have any questions, ask it there. the s14 mani is better... has more vac sources. Each one of my turbo items that needed a vac has its own source which was basically my boost gauge and BOV.
