RB25DET Swap into 240SX
Hey guys,
I have been just recently introduced the world of Nissans and the great big list of modifcations that u can do to them . I will be purchasing a 95 240 with 68,500 miles in the following week. I was looking at SR20DET swaps and then the RB25DET swaps caught my attention and i have decided on getting a RB swap. I live in Chicago so i wanted to know if there is any place close to me where i can go to get this swap done. Thanks.

I am in Albany and I do the swaps. Here is a look at my car.

If you are interested in having a swap done, send me an email
jbpowell@nycap.rr.com
Give me a list of all the things you want on your car, and we can go from there, I know NY is a bit of a drive, but you could get here in a day.
Talk to you soon,
Jon

everyone would like the RB25 swap when i started off, it was the SR that was hot now its the RB unfortunately for someone like me who has never done an SR or any swap at all, an RB swap would be too much.
Right now in the finishing stages of my swap (sr20det) i can honestly say that never having done one before it was fairly easy, But the RB needs lots of fabricating and extra work i myself would not have even attempted without experience.
SO unless you have experience swapping or are getting it swapped in for you Go for it, if not stick with the SR.

If you do a buttload of research before even being able to afford the swap you should have it down packed by time the ordered mptor ships. I'm studing now and i'm pretty sure it's gonna bee cakewalk, if I can find an aftermarket intercooler that'll work w3ell with the RB25, but I haven't searched that hard for one. Pickup a copy of Sport Compact Car, the one were the Vinshu EVO ***** slaps Germany, one some of the most popular cars there. It's a step-by-step walkthough which is pretty good. It's on a s14, though. Better yet here's the link to that artical.

They go thought www.UnstableHybrids.com, there super overpriced and I wouldn't order from them, but there site has some ok info as well.
