Hey everyone, I have everything prepped up to start and the engine turns but it won't start. The fuel pump is pumping and the ecu has a little red light on. The only thing is that when I turn the key to start the red light turns off. I was thinking maybe this has something to do with the no start.

Also, I don't know if there are any more grounds I need to connect besides the big one from the battery to the engine. Maybe this has something to do with it. What do you guys suggest? Any and all help is appreciated.

 

Basics... Fuel, air, spark. One or more is missing. Figure that out, and you'll be able to start looking in the right place.

 

Fuel is a check, I ran some temporary piping into the intake for air, I am pretty sure its spark. How can I check that?

 

Pull a spark plug, then put it back into the boot on the spark plug wire and rest the threaded part of the shell on a grounded part of the engine, away from other electrical components. Have somebody else crank it over, and watch for a spark jumping the electrode gap.
