They pull stronger than a SR swap, smae boost, same setups(FMIC, exhaust, dowpipe, etc) and in 3rd the RB pulls away probably 2 carlengths.............Torque. I will head to the strip can't guarantee a dyno pull though we don't have one anywhere close.

I got some 86-88 RX-7 NA injectors, supposed to be high impedence 465cc units. I'm going to have them tested and install them soon. Right now I can drop 3rd on the freeway and break traction, and this is with 17x9s with sticky yokohama's. I'm surprised the JDM clutch that was in the swap is holding up this good.

Thats about right with that turbo. The stock turbo sucks it is way to small. These motors have alot of potential the ports are huge. My hybrid turbo spools at about 3500 RPM but really packs a punch. If you've looked at your turbo they have a tiny exhaust wheel just like the SR. It's good for street driving and maybe auto-x, but for trying to push more power it's hopeless. It's like having 1-1/2" exhaust. I was going to run mine for awhile and upgrade, but I looked at that exh wheel and thought no way-that things junk.

Yeah I figured the stock turbos blow on these motors. I bought a SC61 about 6 months ago for my motor lol. I knew from the get go that I needed a good turbo to start with. I really have too many mods that are waiting to go on to my car. I can't wait till I get everything on the motor

You can see in the dyno graphs that the stock turbo sucks. Why the big lean spot in the A/F ratio?

as far as I can tell he was shifting out of 3rd into 4th when he hit the sample button. He was racing on the dyno tryin to hurry before the intercooler heat soaked again for my 3 passes.

Wow, torque drops earlier than in the KA. I like the power though. All that out of 2 liters. Kicks the SRs ***, lol.

I think that has to do with the crap stock turbo. It dosen't like been pushed too high in the revlimit. after the intercooler heat soaks I can feel it even more so.

The stock sidemount. It ok when you 1st start to drive it. After the car warms up the intercooler isn't cooling as well because it dosen't have the surface aera of a front mount intercooler.

I dunno about that one, I've learned everything that I know from experience working on the engine. The only thing I've seen is exploded parts diagrams of the RB20 in japanese.
