Please help!!! S14 wont run right!!!

Im having a huge problem with my 1994 S14 with an S14 swap. Heres the problem the car runs extreamly ruch and under a load the car cuts out and sputters, bucks runs like ****! heres whats done to the car. 1994 S14 with an S14 swap it has hks exhaust FMIC, S13 turbo, wiring specialties S14 conversion harnes, S13 MAF. Ive had the car to every shop in the state and no one can seem to fix it, its been acting like this for almost two years and im sick of it... please help!. This is what I think is wrong but I dont know for sure. when I got the car back from one shop the TPS was just holding on by a thread so I recalibrated it and it didnt help. then I found out the MAF was from an S13 so I baught an S14 MAF and the car wouldnt even run! so im wondering if the TPS from the S14 was defective and the S13 MAF isnt calibrated for an S14 so its making the car run the way it is? could that be a possibility? please help

you have a vaccum leak of some kind

break out the carb cleaner and see where it bubbles on the hoses

could also be the temp sensor, check that you need to run a S14 maf check the wires to make sure it was made for S13

correct me if im wrong but a 1994 isnt a s14 that would be an s13

no mine is a 94 is the early S14's.

But hey sold them late 94 as 95's.

If you have a S14 engine with a s13 turbo and an S13 MAF that is part of your problem there...the turbo will work fine for a while but it is just much smaller than what the Computer is thinking it is and the maf probably had the harness butcherd to make it work the MAF is is a very sensitive sensor and if you adapted a S13 maf to a S14 computer. I would try and get hold of a S14 MAF and S14 Turbo.

Sounds like an intercooler pipe could be loose or one of the grommets is cracked check that as well. computer could be in safe mode might want to reflash it. just a few thoughts.

WOW!!! thanks a lot for all the ideas! I checked for vacume leaks and found none. And I tried an S14 MAF and the car would barley idle and would die when you give it throttle. Does anyone know where I can get a new S14 MAF and how would I Reflash the ECU? and what gromets are you talking about? thanks again for all the help.
