I got a resistor box from a V6 Acura Legend. There are only 2 kinds low and high resistance, so I'm sure that any resistor box will work. You want a total of around 12.8-14.0 Ohms from what I have seen. The injectors I got are low resistance you have to check them with a voltmeter though because some of the injector info on the net isn't right. I need to clear out one more 1/2 cut then I can get my car in the shop and start the injector swap.

I just tested a few different resistor boxes, 2 different honda and 1 Mitsubishi they were all 6.2-6.3 Ohms?? That with 2.8 from the injectors doesn't equal 13.8 like I measure on the stock Rb20 injectors. ??????? Nissan resistor box is different?

I was just going to wire in regular resitors inline on the pos wire. to make the resistance what it should be. My injectors are 13.6 and the RX7 injectors were like 2.3 I think. Maybe my plan wont work for some reason, but I was thinkin of just puttin in 12 ohm resistors.

That is what I would do, however we need to find some-let me know where they come from. They have to be big ceramic units or they will BBQ.

jim wolf tech sells these on his webpage. you can google the resistor rating (6.8 ohm/10 watt). apparently, they will work according to the description. I'm also in need of a dropping resistor box, but i think i might go w/ this option and wire 6 of them up...

would be nice if JWT would list prices, maybe it goes by the rule "if you have to ask, you cant afford it" they seem to make good stuff, but the prices are kinda up there. if anyone knows how much these things are please inform us. this would be good to attach to the RB20, 25, 26 sticky to let people know how to install these injectors correctly.
-RK if you go this route maybe you could take pics of the upgrade and post them.

they're really cheap if you just search at online electronic stores.. like $20 for all 6. just have to do the soldering yourself, and you wont get that fancy silver box w/ plugs

I think if they are only 6.8 ohm and they work the box I have from the Acura at 6.3 should work fine them. A 1/2 ohm isn't squat. I have a extra ignitor and ECU if not Once again into the unknown for RB20 owners everywhere....

RK where are the resistor boxes on hondas? (sorry not a honda guy, have no clue what to look for) They could be small and hidden or it could be something out in the open, I just wouldnt know where to start. If you could send me a pic that would be GREAT! iroc_07@yahoo.com

Ok today I went to radio shack and picked up 3 packs(6) 10 OHM, 10 watt resistors. Soon as I get some time I'll be installing the 450's and see how it is.

can you give me the part number for that. I have a buddy that works there, but he didnt see anything in stock. He can order, or just grab whatever I want. Maybe I can get them really cheap with his discount and hook up everyone on the board that is gonna do this.
Also, Ryan I emailed you about that harness, just wanted to make sure you got it.
